Birth of an Artisan Passion

Mr. Mohamed Laïd Chouikh and his partner founded a small artisanal chocolate workshop in Bouzaréah, Algiers, named “Confiserie Mondiale.” At that time, the workshop specialized in producing sugared almonds and block vegécao.

The 80’

Diversification and Success

A few years later, Confiserie Mondiale expanded its range by introducing new pastry products: vermicelli, glaze, fondant, cocoa powder, almond paste, and baking powder, strengthening its growing expertise on the Algerian market.

1984

Expansion and a New Brand

Building on its success, Mr. Chouikh opened a new chocolate factory in the Batna Industrial Zone. With more space and better equipment, he launched the brand “CHOC’AURES,” which introduced its first 100g vegécao tablet.

A Renewed Family Vision

The second generation of the family took over, continuing Mr. Chouikh’s vision with ambition. They founded SARL CHOCODADA, dedicated to producing vegécao and chocolate in multiple forms, for both professionals and households.
